Soirée San Francisco, FCMM 2001
Installation and live video art
Duration: 05:00:00

This installation and live a/v performance was attributed to "seed( ) with David Tinapple"

The 5 hour performance took place on October 20th, 2001 during musical performances by San Francisco-based artists Sutekh (rRose), Twerk and Safety Scissors at the S.A.T. (Société d'Arts Technologiques) gallery housed in a former bank vault.

This work was made possible by the Daniel Langlois Foundation and the M.A.C. - Musee d'Art Contemporain de Montréal.

During FCMM: Festival International de Nouveau Cinéma et des Nouveaux Médias in Montréal, Canada, the interior of an old bank was instrumented and transformed into a room-sized, time-line with live-sampled audio/visual input projected across three walls.  The artists' goal was to visualize the invisible memory membrane of the physical space through a spatialized, time-shifted, video feedback loop.
